The venue and my therapist were lovely; however the wax itself was not. I had booked for a hot wax but she started with strips and even after reminding her, she continued with strips until I asked again. The stick to dip into the hot wax was used for the entire wax (very unhygienic) and she didn’t seem to wait for the wax to harden, so was constantly pulling at my skin. I’ve waxed for 15 years but this was agonising.
