I brought my best friend her mum and sister here the day before her wedding.
I had made the appointment over a month in advance after speaking to them on the phone and being very specific about what we wanted.
When we arrived a lady told us that she couldn’t do what we had asked for even though I had an email confirming what I needed.
So we in the end had to take off a full set of nails and replace them instead of doing infills.
When we began to discuss styles for the nails as we were all attending a wedding the next day, another lady told us that she couldn’t do what my friend wanted as her wedding nails as it was classed as nail art and that takes a longer appointment!
No one had mentioned this to me on the phone previously otherwise I would have booked a longer appointment. It was actually only just a glitter fade nothing crazy.
She also when we were picking nail couloirs that she gave us to look at kept saying oh that one is £10 more expensive?!
Then when my friend did finally choose a varnish she told us she didn’t have that one after giving it to us on a board to look at.
All in all the nails were perfectly acceptable and we were happy to pay however definitely not somewhere I would visit again.
Everything seemed a bit too much for them, like we were a complete effort. It was very uncomfortable for a while and I didn’t feel welcome. And definitely not what I would expect knowing it was a wedding party and it should have been a happy relaxed occasion.
Nails were fine. Not the best I’ve had. But atmosphere and attitude not somewhere I would personally visit again.
