I had Apres-X and it's much, much better than Acrylic! The prep for the nails was done well, and my design was great too. However, when I got home, and properly looked at my nails, a couple of the extensions had been put on wonky and were pointing a different way. Also, the lengths were different on each corresponding finger on each hand.
Unfortunately, I was going on holiday so no chance to go back to have it corrected, so I had to spend time at home trying to sort this out.

The ladies at the salon are absolutely lovely, however my gel manicure began peeling off on the second day after getting it done! Normally I would complain and go back to get it fixed but I was leaving to go on holiday for a week so wouldn't have had time. By day 5 all the nails were chipping and or peeling, so I just had to take them all off. Have never had such a bad lifespan of a gel manicure. Loved the salon but unfortunately won't be going back for that reason.

They’re not very good with natural nails, the gel was all over my fingers and the nail art was so badly done. It was messy, little attention to detail. Sarah was lovely, just not so great at the gel.
