Mamas & Babas baby yoga is a fun way to bond with your baby. I've learnt some techniques that we can do at home, but the classes are extra special with toys, lights, musical instruments...and of course the chance to meet other mums & be offered a cup of tea, biscuit & chat
Aqua yoga is a great opportunity to do some gentle exercise while at the same time introducing baby to the water. I love that sequences can be adapted easily & that its not limited to mums & babies - if my mum or a friend want to come along, they can & I wish I'd known about this class when I was pregnant. For the babies, flashing ducks and floating flowers make it an exciting sensory experience while they float in their swim rings
"I have been attending Amy's AquaYoga class for a while now and find it combines exercise and relaxation very well. She is a great instructor and keeps the classes varied whilst following the core Yoga principles. It is surprisingly hard to balance in water and this adds to the benefits this class brings. The best part is lying back in the water focusing on your breathing and practically floating away...very enjoyable and relaxing! Also, this class is hugely beneficial to pregnant women - I myself am 6 months pregnant and the weightlessness and effect of my breathing on my baby is amazing!
