As usual I had booked and payed for a cut for long hair online. On the day I was greeted by the receptionist as well as the stylist, who then discussed and cut my hair. The cut turned out ok-ish, but all the brushes used on me were covered thickly in other people's hair which I find disgusting. When I wanted to leave afterwards I was stopped by the receptionist who claimed I would have to pay extra because of my hair being "too long". Despite knowing exactly what I had booked, none of them had said anything before giving me the treatment even though both of them had clearly seen my hair (which I always wear open and which obviously the stylist checked before washing/ cutting). I argued that they would have to tell me beforehand and that there is also no clarification online on what they view as "very long". They fetched a handdrawn cartoon from somewhere which implied "long" being shoulder length (usually considered "medium length" at any other salon I have ever been to) and anything longer than the top of the shoulders being "very long" and therefore costing another 5 pounds. As I had already payed online I did not carry any money or cards on me so they insisted aggressively that I head home to get them and come back. I felt threatened and taken advantage off. When I did return to pay their additional demand they didn't even give me a receipt. I felt completely ripped off. I cannot recommend this place and will definitely not come back here.
