Upon entering, the salon had a simplistic and open look, which I liked. The staff were friendly and made sure to ask my opinion at each stage of the process to ensure I was satisfied with my haircut. I did dock a star for cleanliness, more towards the build of the salon than anything else. Looking down at the ground, the bottom panelling seemed to be messy and placed haphazardly. Other than that, I recommend Mai Salon and would come back.

Mai is a lovely little salon that has close knit group of staff. I have had my hair cut by John Vincent a number of times and he is able to create restyled that gets noticed. Able to give modern haircuts and the experience is not rushed in any way. Excellent value for money and a very convenient location if you work near Piccadilly gardens or king street. The products they use during washing are great. No hard sell whatsoever for buying products. Will be returning!
