Ok really wanted to share my feedback but waited a bit till I settled and get used to my new haircut.
Yesterday I visited the salon ( booked with Carron ) as after reading reviews for this place I was happy to book my appointment .
I had a med length hair( all my hair was same length ) and wanted to get a bit of shape around the face plus cut off few cm to refresh the ends.I always though it's easy to work with that type of hair basically because it's possible to give it any shape.
Once I saw the final result.. I was very disappointed .ok the length is gone ( more than few cm for sure) but that's ok as I'm more for quality and understand if it was needed.. however the front part looked very awkward..
Basically it looks like I have a bob up to the ears and then long hair on the back. yes, it's not a gradual cut, seems like half head is short and half left long..
I know it's just a hair.. and will grow back..which is FiNe, but with my job I can't really have a messy head.. so probably have to book somewhere else to Fix the problem ( the only way is to cut more from the back I believe to make it look decent and not like a cut it myself ..
Really dissspiinted and not coming back again
I was disappointed as the reviews sounded really good and the pictures of the salon were really nice. Although when I got there the first thing that caught my eye was dust, stains, and it seemed a bit scruffy for how much it cost. The hairdresser was nice and she tried to do a good job. She straightened my hair and it looked nice and smooth, and the haircut looked alright. But when I washed my hair again ( and I do have a wavy fluffy hair) it didn’t look good at all. So in general I’m not satisfied with this service.
Overall great experience for a quality haircut in Manc centre as a lot of bigger places are fully booked on a weekend. The salon is a little less glamorous than pictures portray on here (Snowflake Xmas decs hanging in August! Cleanliness could be improved too) but non the less my cut was good and stylist was nice, she cut exactly how I asked.
