Joanna was lovely, very chatty and kind. I came here because I couldn’t get in with my usual beautician and was unfortunately disappointed with the treatment. No disposable underwear was provided and the towel was swiftly removed once the waxing began leaving me feeling very exposed. The strip wax was good however, the hot wax was rather painful. Bits of hot wax made it into the landing strip that was left and it caught on my underwear after I left the salon. I have found patches of hair that have been missed on areas that were treated by both strip and hot wax which I have had to since tweeze and shave to get rid of. Not the finish I was hoping for. The landing strip that was left is unfortunately squint with it being placed to the right. I have since shaved this off as it looked quite silly and I felt rather embarrassed by it. After my treatment I developed a rash which has never happened after any treatments in the past. It’s been a few days since my treatment and my skin still feels bruised and like it has a friction burn. The after care instructions Joanna provided were helpful. Overall, this treatment wasn’t for me and I’ll be sticking with my usual beautician from now on.
