The best haircut I've had in London! After a bad haircut at a previous salon, I chose to come to MacCarthy because of all the great reviews - they didn't disappoint! My hair is exactly the way I wanted and the staff were so friendly! I will definitely be back.

Positives: Massive variety of colours. Good manicure. Very nice lady. Nice environment.
Negative: Normally my shellac doesn't chip until after 2 weeks but 3 days later one of the edges of my shellac chipped without me having done anything to provoke it. This is the second time I've had my nails done here. It happened the first time as well but didn't comment on it in case it was a one-off. Not sure why it's happening. I have no expertise in applying shellac but one difference I noticed here in comparison to other shellac treatment places is that the length of time under the UV lamp is less. Another difference is the brand of base coat and top coat. Although I always get CND shellac, other salons don't necessarily use the CND base coat and top coat. Perhaps other base coat and top coat brands are better so my suggestions is for MacCarthy's to look into this
