It wasn't the best shellac I've ever had, unfortunately. Came off quickly and didn't cover the nails completely. The other treatments I had (massage and facial) were absolutely excellent, and the staff are wonderful, so I would still highly recommend this place! Best facial ever!!

I am disappointed in the service I received at MacCarthy. My first appointment was cancelled and rebooked for a few days later. The stylist was ill so I was understanding. Then I booked a haircut for the morning a few days later where the stylist was supposed to arrive early to accommodate. She didn't turn up so I stood outside the salon for 20 minutes and was still late to work. For all three instances, I have had to move things around at work and I still need a haircut. I am disappointed because I was looking for a new place close to my flat to get my hair and other services done. I was even going to book many services with the salon for my upcoming wedding. Now I'm back to square one.
