I have quite long black wavy hair. I just wanted a simple wash, cut and rough dry - lucky for me I got more than that! To begin with, i was late for my appointment by nearly 15 minutes because I was really struggling to find the place (that's an issue with Google Maps and not the address of the hairdressers) when I called twice to let them know I was going to be running late - they were really understanding. When I got there, the staff were friendly, chatty and attentive. I didn't have to wait long for my turn and it was really quick. Even though I told her that i was just looking for a rough dry (I wear a headscarve) she went that extra mile to make my hair look bouncy, vibrant and soo shiny! We had a great little chat and I can honestly say I would be happy to go back there again.

Unfortunately I'm not really happy with my haircut and so I've had to give just a 2 star rating. I asked for long angled bob and showed loads of pics of what I wanted. I was also very specific about how I wanted the back to be. Unfortunately the hair dresser could not or didn't want to give me the style I had asked for. It's too short at the front and the back looks really blunt and sticks out funny. So unfortunately, overall I'm disappointed with the service I paid for here.

The Gentlemen's Haircuts was supposed to last 45min but it lasted only 20min instead... also the hairdresser was really junior and did not understand what I wanted.

I work nearby and had walked past this place before but never been inside. I thought the quality of the cut was very good at the time and remain pleased a week later when sometimes you might have started to find flaws with it.
