I got a very thorough manicure before the gel was applied.
So far it looks much better than gel manicures I've had at much more expensive salons.
The salon looks a little tired in decor compared to the photos online but I'll still go back as the nails look great!

Oh dear...
Nice things: the beautician was chatty.
After that it's downhill...
From the moment she put the first wax strip on and stepped backwards and leaned into the strip, then readjusted her angle I thought "Oh flip, this is a bad idea!" but I continued, having left it until the last minute for the appointment before I went away. I should have excused myself and left. All of it was agony and then she ripped my skin in 3 places pulling off a single wax strip and there was blood. Far too much blood.
And then there was the eyebrow threading I booked... she waxed my eyebrows!!???
I received a voucher to the value they charge for a bikini wax (I still had to cover the Treatwell charge) but I won't be returning for anything other than to use up the value of the voucher getting my nails painted!
