What an awful experience.
I arrived on a Friday afternoon having booked the appointment a fair bit in advance. The salon was so incredibly busy that I had to have my full set done at the same time as pedicure. I was quite uncomfortable as I had to twist to the side on the pedicure station order for the lady to get to both my hands.
I had a cushion resting on my lap with the tub of acrylic powder and acetone... Every time the lady doing my feet asked me to swap over, everything on my lap nearly fell. I then had to balance the dryer on my feet against the foot rest as there was no where for me to sit and get them dried.
I asked the lady doing my hands if I could have a simple nail pattern to which she replied yes. What a mistake! Despite me choosing the colours I wanted, she chose something different and they look incredibly patchy. The pattern doesn't even look like what it was supposed to. I absolutely regret going here.
I returned the following Tuesday to ask them to redo literally only the 4 fingers that I had the patterns on and to make them plain... I was told they didn't have time and that if I wanted them done, I'd need to wait 2-3 hours. As if I have nothing else to do on a work day?!
The owner is rude, unobliging and the least accommodating man I have come across.
Don't bother with this salon if you want nail art and if you want a pamper/relax... it's like a cattle shop for anything beauty.
In my experience this salon is great for nail treatments and pedicures but I tried the Hollywood wax and it wasn't a great experience. The wax felt overly painful (and I've had a lot of waxes at a lot of different salons). I also noticed that I was left with a small amount of bruising around my knicker line which hasn't happened to me before. for these reasons I won't be returning for my next Hollywood
