I'm not satisfied with how I was treated. I had booked a patch test and I was running a couple of minutes late, so I called the salon to notify I'm just walking up their street. I was spoken to impolitely and I was told I should have been there 10 mins early, which wasn't explained during the booking process. Apparently the salon had tried to call me the day before, but I hadn't seen the call. I arrived all flustered just 2 mins after my appointment, only to be faced by a discontent receptionist who rolled her eyes when I apologised about missing their call and not being there 10mins early. I got given my forms to fill in, which took 5 mins and while I was filling them I could hear chatter in another language, which I felt it was for me and a loud exclaim "Can I go home now?" Then I got taken for my patch test. My therapist was polite but painted quite a disheartening picture about how effective laser is for facial areas. Also I was quite frightened by the possible side effects after treatment, which apart from redness and swelling, which I would expect, also included blistering. All in all I didn't feel at ease at this salon and this experience made me change my mind about starting my treatment there.
