I really like that they have episodes of Sex in the City playing whilst having the treatment done as I suppose it goes part way in covering up the awkwardness. I go to Luxury Wax Bar regularly and always get someone different, and the quality of the service is always the same, that's not to say it's brilliant, it's just safe, I don't get ingrown hairs with them - having Hollywood wax and underarm waxed, but it's never a perfect job, there is always hair still left and the next day I see growth happening already, which clearly means the waxing technique of the therapists needs to be worked on. This time around the therapist barely spoke to me, and I felt that made the whole process even more awkward, when doing the Hollywood the therapist waxed the same area about 3 times - which I believe you are not supposed to do... it felt quite sore when she was putting on the wax. But the plus is they never double dip the wax applying stick and they do try and get every hair by plucking the stubborn ones... but I do feel they miss hairs simply because the lighting isn't good enough... perhaps something that could be improved? All in all it's a safe place to go in terms of cleanliness and hygiene, just the rest needs to be workedon - oh the price has gone up slightly too!

Luxury Bar is tucked away down a side street next to Exmputh market. The location, service and staff are all excellent. The little extras such as the fresh flowers, chocolates and being distracted by friends were such a bonus to the treatment!
