Luxury Wax Bar is my go-too for upper-lip threading and Hollywood waxing. I can't find anywhere this central that is so quick and cheap! Unfortunately, the comfort of the treatment is always really inconsistent, so I always leave in either huge amounts of pain, or feeling like I'm walking on sunshine. One thing I love about this bar is that the thread they use seems to be less pinch-y, and I have really sensitive skin so very harsh thread always makes me tear. For some reason, either they changed their thread or their technique or it was just the staff member I was assigned to, it was incredibly painful this time; I had red, itchy spots all over my upper lip for hours and in the end there were still a few spots missing. Really love how affordable this place is and it is generally quite good and clean - and they always have a romcom playing in the rooms! - but serious downfall with consistency.

I couldn't find salon first, it was inside drugstore in basement. But staff is very polite. I had enjoyable treatment. Waxing was not painful as usually, because I was distracted by 'Friends' tv series. I think it's genius, to make client laugh during such unpleasant treatment.
