I booked an appointment at Luxe Hair & Beauty without realising that the venue had changed ownership. My hairdresser was friendly, the cut and blow dry were good, and she took a lot of time over the highlights to ensure all sections were covered. However, I think there was a misunderstanding as I asked for golden highlights but a toner was used to create the colour and my hair became so light there were segments which were white. To the salon's credit, I contacted them to say I was unhappy and they replied immediately to apologise and invite me back the following week to rectify it at no charge. The solution offered was to apply a darker toner all over which has made my hair a uniform copper brown (although the colour changes with each wash). I would recommend the salon for a cut and blow dry but I will need to go elsewhere in the next couple of weeks for highlights.

The overall service was good. The lady was nice and the treatment was done well. However, I got a reaction to the wax afterwards.

Very nice, hospitable staff. I was quite surprised that the stylist didn't ask to look at my hair (the shape and texture of it, how it fell, etc.) before it was washed - as it's very hard to make these assessments once the hair is wet. The cut was a little shorter than I was hoping for, but the basic shape is good.
