such a shame this was a thoroughly disappointing experience. I arrived 10minutes early and was greeted by the receptionist who asked me to be seated. My appt was at 12 oc and at12.05 I asked the receptionist how much longer would be and she responded pretty curtly with that it was only a bit late. I explained I only had the hour for my lunch.
My therapist came up with her previous customer who had obviously spent a lot of money with them as the team were falling over themselves to accommodate her needs and next appt.
After a few minutes this therapist welcomed me and led me down to the room so I thought perhaps this will have just been a false start.
I am trained in swedish massage myself so know the components involved. My therapist asked if I wanted any areas specifically dealt with but I said I was just keen for the overall massage as the full body massage.
It was ok as a massage, the pressure wasn't great but I was worried for time as we'd started late so didn't want any further delays.
Unfortunately for some reason my therapist didn't really do the tapotement or friction elements during the treatment.
When I turned over for the front part she did my legs and then suddenly stopped and said the treatment was complete. So I didn't get the neck / decollete, shoulders or the stomach area which I thought I should have had given it was a full body massage.
She said she'd wait upstairs for me to get changed. I checked the time as I was changing and it was 12.55 - so my treatment finished 5 minutes early even though it was an hour appt.
As I went to leave I thought there might have been a question to ask if I wanted to rebook, or some acknowledgement about the late start of the treatment but nothing. My therapist was on their salon booking system and just said "ok bye" and put her head down.
Overall I was pretty disappointed, I paid for an hour treatment and received a 45 min treatment. A number of steps were missed during the treatment and customer service was little to non existent especially having seen how others were treated. Given I live nearby I wanted to support my local businesses but I doubt I would feel confident to return. Very disappointing.
