I bought several vouchers to try different treatments at Beauty and Tanning. I used one for lymphatic drainage. It is supposed to remove toxins out of your body. Well, interesting one, but was not exactly something special for me. I sweat a bit, which was probably it. Probably more sessions would do the trick.
Absolutely excellent. It was my first spray-tanning session ever and I wanted a little bit of a nice tan in preparation for a white party. Went over to book my appointment and got great advice with regards to when to schedule the appointment (2 days before the event to have the best looking tan) and how to prepare. When I arrived, I was greeted in the same friendly manner, walked through all the steps necessary and generally put at ease. The outcome was exactly as promised, not too dark and looking just perfectly natural on day 2 for the party. Will definitely go again if I have another occasion!
The salon is close to Knightsbridge station but tucked away on a side street. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The treatment room was small and cluttered, and didn't feel particularly clean. For the treatment they put on some nylon wraps around my legs and my tummy, and then tubes pump air into these nylon wraps, so basically this air gives you an anti-cellulite massage. There is minimal involvement from the staff during the treatment, but they did check up on me every once in a while. All in all, you need regular treatments to see an improvement, but I'm not really convinced by this method.
A very basic salon with no frills, mostly set up for booth tanning, but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the arasys seemed to be working, I may well consider signing up for a longer course.
No, they do not clean the lymphatic drainage suit after each session! I had been here before and the receptionist/therapist was much nicer than today who wanted me to take off the suit myself afterwards. The treatment is good as it gives the legs a work out, HOWEVER as I left and was about to buy a package- a sweaty and hairy guy went into the room I just vacated and was told to put on the suit himself.. aargh.. Needless to say it put me off as to whose hairy legs etc had been in the suit I had just had on.. dashed home to have a bath..
