I recently went to the salon for half a head of highlights. Unfortunately when I arrived the stylist said that they were closing & that she had no idea I had booked an appointment. Thankfully after I had to explain that I had travelled very far to get to the salon, she said she would fit me in. She was a sweet lady - but I could tell that she was in a rush to finish my highlights - & therefore did not leave them in for very long. When she rough dried my hair (something that she said she doesn't normally do - when it is included in the price) I noticed that there was lots of dark gaps, & even though I had asked for thin highlights - I have chunky lines in my head. I have now washed my hair twice - & the lighter blonde colour has already faded & it has left a ginger tinge. So I am really not happy with the fact that I have paid good money for bad service & results.

My aromatherapy massage at London Ladies was probably the best massage I've ever had. The staff took care of me from when I walked in and I almost fell asleep during the massage because of how relaxed I was! Very good service and good value for money, will definitely be visiting again :)
The underarm waxing I had at this salon in Hammersmith was fairly quick and it is in a good local location for those in West London.

I used a GroupOn voucher for my visit, I obviously didn't read it correctly as Cut and Blow Dry were not included and I was charged another £30. Rather than wash my hair it was sprayed slightly with water and then I had the strangest of cuts (my hair was virtually dry) the hairdresser picked up chucks of my hair and chopped lumps off, the actual cut took around 10 minutes and that's quick for my hair as its shoulder length and extremely thick. The colour was good, but checked when I got home and I still have a few grey hairs that were not coloured. Before I left the saloon I did check the cut and it looked ok (not the best I have had), but on closer inspection when I got home, it seemed a bit hacked about. The hairdresser kept going on about me coming back and the discount she would give me, which actually worked out cheaper than what I had already paid - I certainly would not visit again with or without a GroupOn voucher.
