Very Disappointed.
I chose London Beauty House to do full face makeup for a wedding. Perhaps the other services are better but my makeup was a disaster.
I do not usually wear makeup and I explained this to the technician. I explained I was going to a wedding and would be attending both day and evening parts. I explained I don’t normally wear makeup so wanted a natural look. I wanted the makeup to make me look better.
The good points of the makeup were lips and brows which were very nicely done but the overall effect was ruined by the eye makeup. It was very dark, heavy, did not suit my age, colouring or the shape of my eyes. The only event this look would have been suitable for was a Halloween party where I could have scared small children as a ghoul.
The ambience for the make-up is not great. It is treatment room in the basement on a massage bed where you can’t see what is being done. There is a lot of noise from the staff and clients having what sounds like raucous fun upstairs so I assume these are the people leaving good reviews.

I’m so glad I went to this salon! The staff and the other customers (regulars) are friendly and welcoming, there is a genuinely good atmosphere and I’m very happy with my new colour and cut! The stylist,who made me feel very comfortable, listened to what I wanted and was such a lovely person too! I will definitely go back and would recommend it to others. Such good value too. Wish I found it sooner!
