The perfect facial by a professional beautician.. I came out with glowing skin and have already booked my next visit. I highly recommend this treatment. What a treat for yourself, pure indulgence.
The therapy room was ok although the dim lighting when I entered the room didn't reveal much if there was anything to be concerned about. I arrived on time but the facial started 10 minutes late, the treatment itself wasn't fantastic. I found the therapist flat handed - resulting in her palms massaging my cheeks and rubbing the creams into my eyes - forcing me to close my eyes tightly to prevent creams being pushed into my eyes. Although it was evident that I was uncomfortable she continued and I noticed after she entered the room to begin, she didn't wash her hands b4 starting the facial. Naturally this reduced my relaxation and enjoyment of the treatment. The main massage was just ok. The fine granuals used to deep clean my skin earlier in the facial was still on my face at the end of the treatment.
Overall the venue - a health and fitness club - was plesant and the staff very friendly therefore, it may be better to use the gym facilities and avoid the therapy rooms.
Would definately recommend this experience. Excellent value for money and carried out in a very professional manner by an experienced beautician. I will defianately go back and will tell all my friends.
On arrival at the Livingwell Healtgh Club I was greeted by proffessional and friendly staff. I then gave my details and was asked to take a seat. Within a few minutes a beautician introduced herself to me. I then went through to a beauty room for a consultaion as to which facial would suit me and give the most benefits. For the next 50 minutes I was indulged into one of the most relaxing experiences I have had. The beautician was gentle but thorough. Afte she had finsished I was left to come round and then went to reception where I was advised to go home and relax and drink plenty of water. I went home and relaxed for the rest of the day and that night had the best nights sleep ever in a long time. My skin certainley benefited from the facial and I have a healthy glow to myn skin. I would recommend this to anyone, the overall experince was excellent.
The massage was really nice however the facial was not as good, the therapist kept leaving the room and didnt seem very interested. The staff on reception were not very friendly and the free glass of wine was hard work to get. They were suppossed to give you wine on arrival however we virtually had to beg for it at the end of our day before we left. We were not given a choice like stated she just took it on herself to bring us what she wanted. This experience would have been better if the staff had been a bit more caring.
