I went with two girl friends. We only paid £38 for use of the facilities, a drink and 2 25 minute sessions so it was good value for money.
The treatments were professional and relaxing. They were carried out directly one after the other so it was even more relaxing. I had a scalp, neck and shoulder massage and the hand and arm treatment.
I liked that the beatician asked me specifically what I wanted from the massages. There were wonderful parts of the treatment though I was disappointed that she only spent about 10 mins on my hands and what seemed like over half of the time in my face, even though I emphasised I wanted her to focus on my neck and hands.
Another negative was that after the relaxing treatment the beautician quite keenly criticised my usually beauty regime and gave me a full sales pitch for other products they sell. This is not what I wanted after a relaxing massage.
The other spa facilities were nice but small. There was a health and safety issue with the jacuzzi. The water was too high and the grate to catch the overflowing water have way whenever someone stood on it, which was quite often.
