Horrific experience. The technician was young and unexperienced. She removed my old gel by filing it off rather than soaking my nails with acetone which was incredibly painful and has made my nails very brittle. She didn’t remove my cuticles and did not apply cuticle oil. At the end, she didn’t apply hand cream. Two days later my nails have started to chip, but I wouldn’t go and ask for a new gel application, because my nails are very weak from being completely filed off. Very disappointed.

I have been to Live True and had never been disappointed until now. My previous gel manicure was removed by entirely filing it off, she didn’t use any acetone and did it so aggressively that I bled from two fingers. The manicure wasn’t great, thicker than usual and with imperfections. The attitude of the manicurist was also not great, she was on her phone all the time, even replying to Snapchat notifications and pronounced maybe two sentences during the whole experience.
