Unfortunately had a bad cut here, I've been to the Brixton branch a few times and definitely don't think this experience was representative as I've had a really good experience before. I booked a last minute "deal" with a senior stylist, the salon was very quiet but was rushed - 1 hour appointment took 30mins. Was only roughly blow dried and not styled, got home and straighted and cut is completely uneven, now having to go elsewhere to fix, was not aware the deal meant it would mean rushed :(
I booked in with a new Senior Stylist called Ying for a color. She left me with dye on to do highlights to another client. She forgot about me and I had to remind her. Someone else very junior immediately washed my hair and they didn’t do it properly- my hair was left greasy and I had to wash them again at home. And the root color done is wrong. I’ve been going to the salon for a while and I’ve never had such a terrible experience
My nails chipped quickly after my visit to the salon. It didn't feel like a relaxing experience, as member's of staff that didn't have anyone's nails to do were sitting and complaining.
When I called to rebook, I had the phone put down on me. I won't return.
Honestly the worst haircut I have ever had, I have always loved Live True, and I have been to various salons within the chain before and would highly recommend, not this time! I have long thick hair, and after telling the stylist that I prefer my hair all one length as it is a bit wavy and layers can stick out at funny angles if not done perfectly, she told me I “needed” layers and hacked at my hair and gave me the worst blocky layers I’ve ever seen. I’m absolutely devastated, my hair is ruined.
