The salon were running very late and I was eventually allocated a stylist who was very inexperienced and did not have a good grasp of English. I'm not convinced she was actually a stylist, as she looked completely blank when I asked her questions about the salon.
She began to cut my hair without even asking what I wanted, simply assuming I just wanted a trim. When I tried to show her a photo of my desired style and talk her through it, we had such a language barrier that she didn't seem to understand what I wanted. She then spent about 10 minutes cutting a minuscule amount off my hair and preceded to start drying it. I had to stop her and ask that she actually try and attempt the picture I had shown and to add more shape around the front. She kept protesting in broken English saying "short, short, too short" and in the end I gave up.
Ended up paying £47 and looking exactly the same as I did when I came in. Complained to two women behind reception who just looked awkward and apologised. For the price, an extremely dissatisfying experience.
