I like Live True London, the atmosphere and have been doing my nails only there since I moved nearby but my last visit left me disappointed. A couple of reasons. When I came to the salon I said I had an eyebrow threading treatment booked with Pallavi. I was asked to wait and was told that my beautician hasn't finished with the last client yet. I didn't mind the wait - I had my book to read with me. No one took my coat or told me that Pallavi actually wasn't working that day. 10 minutes into the wait - I was asked whether I want something to drink, 10 more - was finally asked to follow my beautician. I don't remember her name, and can't say she did a bad job, but it instantly created a distrust. Please remove beauticians who are actually not available on certain dates from Treatwell! Also, I haven't actually received my glass of water, not even after the appointment - and that's the second time this happened. Please don't offer any drinks if you are gonna forget about me as soon as the new client shows up at the doorstep.

I’ve gone here a few times and it’s always been good however, this time there was a different lady doing it. When she had finished there was still lots of wax stuck to me, didn’t do the back or use gloves and been left with a kind of wonky shape at the front. As she had only half attempted to go to the back there was lots of wax back there still stuck to hair which isn’t really what you want, along with a load of wax stuck to the front. Normally it’s a good place but I’d definitely think twice now.

I went for the shellac polish. When I arrived the staff were very attentive. The woman who did my nails was lovely and very professional. There are too many colours to choose from! (Which isn’t a bad thing). It was a great experience and my nails look gorgeous! So thanks
