This was unfortunately one of the worst hairdressing experiences I've had. Not in any way because of the hair itself (the stylist was nice and did a great job) but because the booking and payment system there is useless. I booked online through treatwell for Monday evening and paid for half a head of highlights (£90). I was then called by the receptionist to say the stylist wasn't free then but could I come Wednesday. She suggested I come in on Monday still for a patch test and consultation with the same stylist. He wasn't then there on Monday so another lady did the consultation. She said she would pass on all the info, which didn't happen - so I had to go through the whole thin again on Weds. Monday was complete waste of time. It was extremely busy on Weds with loud pumping music, and I was passed between three stylists for washing of hair, one asked someone else to watch the time my toner was on for and then had to find someone to wash it off. The water was scaldingly hot or freezing cold (the assistants themselves said this, I think there was a fault with the sink). I was happy with the overall look and was given my coat and wished a nice evening. I was then phoned by reception to ask why I had failed to pay for my toner. No one had said this was an additional cost to what I had booked so I apologised and asked how much I owed - £30! I said I'd pop back in the next day to pay in my lunchbreak. I then received an 11 am appointment reminder text and several calls culminating in one this lunchtime asking why I had missed my 'appointment to pay' - which had never been mentioned to me. I feel an additional cost of this amount should have been flagged and then dealt with politely. Overall left feeling very stressed and unhappy. Would not recommend.
Pedicure was perfect as always. But I booked on treatwell 3 days before and I turned up and my appointment was not on the system. This has happened a few times. The staff in the desk need to be trained better to deal with the system as I waited 1.30 min for a pedicure !!
