The first time I came here I was put off by the rude receptionist, but it was salvaged by my beautician. Unfortunately this time the beautician was most of the problem. My pedicure started well and she was friendly. The flip flops she gave me broke on the way over to the manicure section and then she got extremely angry because a nail had smudged. She kept raising her voice, shouting at me to lift my foot up. She then started grabbing my ankles and lifting my feet up and down. It was really uncomfortable and even minutes later my ankle was still throbbing due to how much she squeezed it in her anger. She then started the manicure. The colour I wanted wasn’t there, which was annoying but not the end of the world. She did the entire manicure in gloves which I found quite offensive and also it felt absolutely horrible, with the latex rubber on my hands. She barely spoke to me and would just angrily stare at me to change hands, until I said she could just ask me. I left with the same receptionist being as unfriendly as ever, and am now committed to never go back. All of the people getting their hair done seemed happy, as did another lady getting a pedicure, but my manicurist made it a truly horrible experience. And one I won’t be repeating.
Lovely salon and had a great treatment. Only surprise was that two toners were used meaning an additional cost of £60 - but it came out so well that I didn’t mind! Thanks Irene for my fabulous balayage
