Customer service at this place has definitely slipped. No offer of a drink even though I was there for 3+ hours. There were also extra charges for more toner to be used on my hair that I had to pay a higher price than I was told whilst having my hair done.
The treatment/colouring was good but you don’t get any of the impressive service you get at other salons of a similar price.
I had a wash and haircut with Gabrielle. I asked for a blunt cut. Unfortunately at the end, my hair wasn’t even on both sides and also not blunt. After trying to fix the evenness for a while, I gave up on the blunt style. He also didn’t show me the back or get my coat but just rushed off somewhere. He seemed to be hungover. When I got home, I checked the back, and Gabrielle hadn’t taken the same amount of length off. All my past cuts at Live True have been good but I’d avoid Gabrielle.
I’ve been to Live True before and had a good experience so rebooked the stylist. I was told I was late for my appointment, the receptionist was rude and argued before realising it was their mistake. I had to have a different stylist who seemed in a rush. I showed him a photo of my previous hair and he told me I needed a full head of balayage rather than half (I had been told half last time). He used a completely different toner and my hair looks nothing like the photo I showed him and unnatural.
