Had my hair cut by Szindy yesterday and I’m really disappointed with the cut and experience. I felt like she didn’t listen to me when I said I didn’t want it too short and that I liked my hair with lots of volume but she just did what she wanted and cut loads off and thinned it lots too so now my hair is really short and flat. This is the second person in a row I’ve had from Livetrue who hasn’t listened to me and feel it’s a really common thing for hairdressers to do. I understand they are trained to know how to cut hair but ultimately it is my hair and if I say I want it a certain way I have paid a lot of money to have it cut that way. I also know my hair better than anyone else so if I say that’s what I normally have done then who are they to argue with that? On a positive note, the salon is nice and staff are friendly overall, but some training on listening to clients properly and finding a compromise could be worth exploring! Thanks
