This was a mixed experience. I was phoned about half an hour before my appointment time and asked to come a bit later as my stylist had been delayed. When I arrived at the agreed time, no apology was given for the delay and I was left sitting for about 10 minutes before being seen. My hair was washed but I could feel that the shampoo hadn’t been rubbed in properly. My actual haircut was fine but halfway through drying my hair, the stylist said my hair was still greasy and it would need washed again. She then washed it again and halfway through drying it a second time, she stopped and disappeared. I was left sitting for another 5 minutes before someone else appeared to finish drying my hair. I felt pretty awkward throughout this experience and just wanted it to be over. I left 2 hours later than my appointment time without any further apology from the staff. Though I think it was good that they let me know in advance that my appointment would be delayed, and that my hair was washed for a second time (and not just left greasy), I felt the communication could have been better when I was there in person and any tension between staff in the salon should have been kept from me, as the customer. I’m not sure I would return, though I am happy with my haircut.
