I won't return to Live True after my last visit. I have been visiting Younes for years and he's amazing. However, because of a scheduling clash my appointment was moved to Danny. Danny cut my hair and presented it to me as finished. I asked whether he could trim the fringe as he had not cut it. He didn't ask me what length I wanted it, and instead took the scissors and cut it very short. He cut it in a way that I didn't like, and didn't suit me. I asked him whether he could use the hairdryer to reshape it so that the short length wasn't so apparent. He did, but it still sat badly. I asked whether he could use the straighteners on it instead. He kept saying 'I only cut a little bit off' as if I was in the wrong, instead responding to my requests to try and make it look better. In the end, I said to him that I thought the fringe looked horrible. At this point Danny just said 'Oh, whatever' in a really sarcastic way and took a step back, crossing him arms and looking at me as if to say 'I don't care'. I was so shocked and upset by this reaction, and the fact that he was refusing to help me, I left before I burst into tears. Such an awful way to speak to a client and goes against every other experience I've had with Younes
I booked a balayage/cut with Danny paying £129. I have dark hair with warm tones and I asked to get lighter ashier with the warm tones taken away. He assured that’s going to be fine however not gonna be blondish as I wanted. was fine with that since i understand that the result is hard to achieve. Also asked for a layered cut. As I have thick hair I needed to pay £50 extra for toner - was cool with that since I know how it works. The result is obviously not distinct when the hair is done and styled the same day, but after a few washes I still see no result whatsoever. My hair still has the same color and my cut is straight rather than layered. I previously complained to Live True about this, and they sent me a total lie of a reply saying I was consulted to get an upgrade (which I never heard of) but also that I might’ve needed a second visit which was also not consulted. Nothing of this was consulted. I asked for money back or a second visit but they couldn’t be helpful. Bunch of liars. So I basically wasted 180£ on an uneven cut and no distinct hair color change. It’s a scam! Wouldn’t recommend!
