Live True Brixton is clean, bright salon. I've had very good experiences in the past but this visit was really average and I don't think I'll be visiting again.
The hairdresser kept me waiting for 15 minutes while he gossiped with a colleague, he asked two questions about what I wanted and then barely spoke to me - and kept disappearing for cigarette breaks.
Overall he did a good job on the balayage - it's well blended although way too blond to be the natural look I'd requested. Previously I'd discussed the colour a bit more with the stylist and been shown how it might look.
The haircut was terrible - he'd clearly slightly forgotten about it so he did it once he'd finished blowdrying my hair. Spent about 5 mins randomly trimming the ends.
So overall it wasn't a great experience. Also they added on a £30 toner as my hair is already dyed which wasn't specified. So not even that good value...
stylist didn’t really listen to my request, and colour was definitely *not* what I asked for. Ended up with warm brassy blonde instead of the icy white I requested. Felt he was rushing me through in order to move onto the next customer. I’ll be coming again, but not to him.
Had a really great experience at Live True Brixton. Kieran was so fun and had me laughing so much, and he did a great job of my hair. I wanted quite a bold look and he got it spot on.
