Booking said '1 hour'; took 25 mins. I had gone in a few days earlier to check if they would put hair up with a couple of clips after blow dry. The receptionist said 'yes'. When I told the stylist he said 'no' but did agree to simple styling after I explained - hope they now inform the receptionist to say 'no' in future. Stylist was very pleasant and listened patiently to me as I wasn't sure what I wanted - we had a 5 mins discussion. Simple suggestions, none really creative. Blowdry, including wash. then took about 20 mins. Fine, but I did feel the price of £37.50 was too much for what I got, especially as I now realize the price I had been given by Treatwell was £32.00. Really not sure what happened there but I had to get a train so did not deal with at the time. Unlikely to go again.

Very pleasantly surprised by this salon - had been quite nervous to go beforehand but they were lovely! Everyone was friendly & welcoming, not at all an intimidating vibe as some salons can give off. I had rushed to book in without a consultation and so booked a treatment that wasn’t suitable for me. When I got there Younes was very kind and explained this to me. Due to my indecisive nature he suggested I have a think how to proceed & then come back another day so I would be 100% certain before we proceeded with anything. We then agreed I should just get half head highlights and he was amazing at sorting this for me. Even calling Treatwell himself to cancel the booking & ensure my refund seeing as I had paid for the more expensive LiveTrue full head balayage and then getting me re-booked on! I really appreciated this as he didn’t have to bother doing this himself! A stark contrast to some of the reviews that mention a surprise bill at the end of their treatment. They then set me up with Damians who is a total sweetheart. Really reassured me & made me laugh throughout the process. Also realistic in how light he could get my hair and made sure to properly explain this to me. A big shout out to him for putting up with my frizzy hair and not complaining, even though it took us longer than we thought & we were so happy to be done with it. I will definitely be back again and have already recommended to my friends/family!
So word of advice - do a consultation in advance to save yourself the hassle on the day & don’t be nervous to book in for colour with the more junior stylists! Overall a great salon experience for me.
