I have been going to Live True for nearly 3 years and this was an awful experience. Unfortunately I had to reschedule my appointment which resulted in having to use another stylist although I was not aware this was the case having booked on treatwell for many roles and precious reschedules this never happened.
I made clear to the stylist that I had micro rings and that no bleach could be near the root of the extension hair(I was under the impression all stylists would no this as the bleach could potential sit under the bond leaving potential risk of snappage) but did mention it can go on the lower of the hair, half way through I noticed that she had begun to
paint the bonds after I asked was she painting I told her they cannot be painted and so she stopped.
Moving to the toner stage it seemed her next appointment arrived and handed over the toner to the lady who was washing hair at the basin(this is the first time in 3 years of having my hair done that the colourist did not do it themselves) the lady began paint the toner but there was mumbling going on behind me and then the original colourist then took over to begin the toner process which would be just the roots(although the lady at the basin painted a my whole under back section) then a different lady came to finish the all over toner, this was a total of 3 people to put the toner for me.
The stylist was working beside with her client therefore the blast dry was done by another lady, I had to highlight to use a different brush as she brush she was using pulled at my extensions(again I don’t know why I would need to highlight this) I left with my hair damp as the lady blast drying my hair as the process was so long and unprofessionaL.
Now coming home I have noticed that the left side has many missed patches and still have root on show.
This experience has really turned me off a salon I dearly enjoyed going to, I won’t be going back.
