This is the first time I’ve been to a hair salon in at least 5 years. I had very long hair and really wanted rid of it. I think I had Zoe and she was great. Washed, cut, and blow dried with care. She knew exactly how to cut even though I wasn’t too sure myself and checked that I was happy with the cut along the way. I highly recommend L&G and will definitely return should the need arise. Thank you very much to Lipstick and Gunpowder for making my hair look lovely. ❤️

As someone who has a fear of hairdressers after a few bad experiences, it took a lot for me to pluck up courage to try a new stylist. Zoe put me right at ease and gave me exactly the cut I asked for. The salon is really clean and looks great and everyone is really friendly. Their prices are extremely reasonable too. All in all, I'm very glad I chose this salon to sort my hair out!

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are so sweet and really chatty they make you feel so welcome. The prices are more than reasonable for the level of treatment you get.
Zoe was wonderful she listened to me and took the time to make sure I was okay with the length and explained exactly what she was going to do which a lot of stylists don’t, she even gave me a discount and was so kind and outgoing.
I’ve had bad experiences with hairdressers but I’ve definitely found one I’ll stick with now
