Nail technician used electric file on my natural nails which I can see has really damaged them now I’ve taken the acrylics off, she also nipped my skin a couple of times when using the file. I know electric files are common in cheaper salons but wouldn’t expect it at somewhere charging this price, I’ve been getting acrylics for a while at similar/lower priced salons and have never experienced this level of nail damage.
My ombre nails did look good overall from a distance however on close inspection can see quite a bit of messyness and they started to lift about a week sooner than I would usually experience. Was also disappointed that the technician didn’t check I was happy with the length/shape as she was going along.
The hair salon that this is inside is really nice itself and was offered a complementary g&t on arrival just a shame that my nail experience didn’t match!

They started trying to use clippers which had SKIN OF THE PREVIOUS CLIENT on them. When I asked to replace them, they replaced the blue sanitising liquid instead. Not to mention they just put instruments into that sanitising liquid for a few minutes and assume it’s enough. I just left because this is completely unsafe.
