So I booked a lunch time lash lift as my sister recently had this done elsewhere and it looked really good. I paid £20 for the treatment when making my booking online only to be told it would be an extra £9.50 for an accompanying tint, which I thought was a bit cheeky especially as I phoned the salon prior to making the booking to check this point.
The treatment itself was delivered with care and attention but the results were disappointing, I couldn’t really tell the difference considering my lashes are quite long to begin with, the impact was very minimal for £30, especially the tint as my lashes are black anyway.
With regards to the service, Melissa was very attentive and her intentions to deliver great customer service with enthusiasm very notable. However the approach was one of over familiarisation and one of her colleagues just totally ruined the ambience as she wanted her eyebrows tinted at the same time as clients like myself paying for a service. To make it worse she kept moaning and whining about the products in the salon and criticising the application technique eg dye goes all over your face, and understandably this didn’t give me much reassurance about the quality of the products.
In addition to this there were people coming to view one of the rooms to rent and the girls kept bickering about who was going to show them around. It felt the place was being managed by a bunch of teenagers and lacked professionalism as most of the girls did appear to have some kind of passive aggressive attitude.
I could have dealt with all the above if the treatment was wow but unfortunately it wasn’t so I may try the place my sister went to instead in the future.

The lashes fell out within 2 days! I had them done as I was traveling the next day and felt so disappointed after purposefully leaving all my strip ones thinking this would last. If I had known I would’ve returned and asked for a refund but unfortunately I spent my holiday with weird gaps in my lashes
