The house isn't very easy to find, the Sat Nav took us to the wrong village, however after calling Sarah, she guided us to her house. On Arrival, Sarah was dressed as you would expect a Masseuse to be dressed with the beauty top etc. When I booked the massage knowing it was in somebody's home, I'm not sure what I expected, however I did not expect what we came to when we entered her home. The fist thing was a thick smell of stale and fresh smoke and dog throughout the house, there was what can only be described as Bric- a-Brac through the hallway and up the stairs. She had an older King Charles Spaniel who came out of the living room to meet us and she showed her two young puppies who are currently being house trained and there were training puppy pads on the floor. The Room itself was set up with what I would have expected, with a massage table, towels and a range of beauty products on display. The smell of smoke however lingered in this room taking the ambience away. The table itself seemed clean, however the thick plushy carpet which is ill fitting to the floor was in need of a clean, and the room could have done with a good deep cleanse especially considering this is her business and Clients are coming into this room to relax. It was a hot day and the window was open, and although the blind was pulled down, the breeze from outside made the blind knock back and forth throughout the massage, again taking the ambience away. The adjoining door through to the kitchen, Which was also not how you would expect it to be kept when having strangers in your home, Though Sarah kept closing this door, as there was no latch for the door, this kept opening which also took away from the relaxed air. The Massage itself was for my boyfriend who said that overall it was a good massage, however as there was no hole in the table for his head, he could not keep his head straight so came out with a sore neck because of this. He said he could feel Sarah focussing on the knots where he was most tense in his legs and on his back, she very kindly checked that he would be ok with her massaging his stomach before doing so as she didn't want to make him uncomfortable. Overall, we both felt this was a strange experience and the massage itself was good, but the rest of the experience was not what we expected. These are easily changed to make the situation better for future clients. I think that if Sarah wants to continue to have clients in her home, She needs to make her home smoke free and deep cleanse to clear the smokey air smells. With 3 dogs in the house, it would probably be better to remove the carpets which hold on to the smoke smells and dog smells and put down flooring which is easier to keep clean. The areas where customers will be, needs to be clean and free of clutter to aid a relaxing experience and make them feel comfortable as though Sarah was very friendly, I did not feel comfortable in her home. Overall, it was the setting and the smells which ruined the experience and I will not be booking here again

I am starting Lewis Beauty because I have a passion for what beauty is and it helps me with my mental health issues. It works for me because I don’t feel under pressure or stressed doing beauty. I can set my own goals and work to my own targets.

I am qualified in a lot of areas, including aromatherapy, beauty and I am a qualified nail technician. I have been qualified in aromatherapy for 10 years, beauty for 4 years and a nail technician for 2 years. I am still doing training in other aspects of the business and love all parts of the business, especially learning new skills.

I am very friendly, and put my customers at ease, which is very important in this business. I am also very passionate about the business.
