I chose the salon due to its location and after reading the reviews. My first three appointments (two treatments and relaxer) went very well. My fourth appointment was disastrous! I grew my hair for two years for my wedding (shoulder length) and looked forward eagerly to the day I would return to a pixie cut which I had prior to getting engaged. I emailed a photo of the style I wanted to the salon and spoke in length with stylist Maz about the cut. Following the wedding I returned to the salon for the pixie cut. I repeated to her that I did not want very short sides. I did not get the cut I asked for - Maz said this was because I have slight hair growth to my crown; but it is NOT noticeable with a pixie cut as I had this before!! The cut was awful - I had extremely short sides so much that you could see my scalp and the cut was hard! My hair was hacked not cut - different levels of length that did not look good. I was not aware it was this bad until the following morning when I was getting ready to meet my family and friends - I was horrified and devastated! I sent the salon photos I had taken the next morning - it apologised and offered to restyle my hair but I had no faith it could be done or I would have received the cut I originally asked for so declined.
I returned to my original salon and stylist in London for the restyle; the journeys are longer but well worth it. The restyle left me with much shorter hair so Maz's issue with my slight hair to my crown is ridiculous! I believe Lena Morris is a good salon but would advise anyone seeking a very short cut (i.e. pixie) to think long and hard before going to this salon as it is not worth the embarrassment of being seen in public and receiving strange looks for an entire WEEK - not worth it!!
