I asked the hairdresser to give me short layers and showed her 4 pictures of what I wanted. EVERY picture showed a curly hair long shag haircut because I have 3a hair. She proceeded to snip off the smallest amounts of my hair and only cut what I wanted for my face framing pieces. I then asked her if she could give me short layers like in the picture and she straight up said no. I ended up having to cut my own hair later to get what I wanted.
