This will be the last time I book for a wax here. The person who was doing my wax this time round barely spoke English, she didn’t prep my skin for any of the waxes I got done. I paid full price for a hot wax, instead I got a strip wax, based on how little the hot wax was used. In the end the manager had to come in and take over. She explained to me that the beautician is new, but that doesn’t mean they should be untrained in their craft. Their were also some other remarks that were made, which were completely unprofessional. In the end the manager did offer to give me £5 off laser treatment she advised me to get, but I don’t think I will be doing that as this was the worst experience I have had in regards to waxing. This is not the first time of me getting a wax here, the last time I was here the lady ended up ripping my skin and it was a mess. The only reason I have chosen to use Lemoge in the past, was due to it being convenient, however I would heavily advise going somewhere else where you know you are going to get a good service and your skin is not going to pay the price for bad practice.

Great staff, very clean and appointment on time. Thanks
An okay spray tan didn’t get much colour
Friendly staff
I had overall a very positive experience at Lemoge - Swiss Cottage. 1) I like the fact that one can always get an appointment even at short notice- maybe due to having a lot of beauticians at hand? 2) Yana, the beautician who did my eyebrow threading, was friendly, professional and did a super job almost painlessly. At a much cheaper price than anywhere I have been in London and less pain- it must be due to her technique or maybe because she was quite considerate and delicate and took her time. 3) Kelvin who did my Shellac nails was also thorough and didn’t rush things. Last time he did my nails the Shellac lasted well over 3 weeks, again a first in many years of having my nails done in salons all over London. If a manicure gel is to last (and not start peeling off on day 5) prepping and taking care/time on the application is a must. Kelvin did both well and so I hope this manicure will last as long as the last one. 4) Prices were v good and I even got a discount from booking through Treatwell. Spending over £25 also got me 6 free mins in the sun booth, but that wasn’t such a good idea for me as I managed to burn myself without any sun protection on the delicate parts of my body... lesson learnt! My only negative comment is on the ambiance- a bit tired in places and a bit too clinical but without the absolute thorough cleanliness that should be associated with clinical environments, which is a pity.
