I did not like my haircut. I showed a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like but the hairdresser did not really follow the picture. I understand that everyone's hair is different but I have achieved a similar look to the picture I showed in the past.
I believe the mistake was made by using the hair clipper too high. The hair clipper should only have been used on the bottom in order to achieve the square shape that I wanted. When I complained I was told the haircut looks different on me because I am fatter than the man in the picture. The hairdresser said she has been doing this job for twenty two years. I believe the fact that the hairdresser has been doing this job for so long is where the problem lies, as it has become a matter of routine where everybody's hair is just cut in the same manner.
Also the worst thing for my type of hair is using thinking scissors. I was told of thinking scissors were not used there would be too much hair on the top compared to the rest of my hair, but had the hairdresser not taken the clipper to high up on my head thinking scissors would not have had to be used on the top.
Being a hairdresser for twenty two years does not mean you cannot give a bad haircut, especially when you no longer enjoy your job and are bored or it.
I do not like my haircut at all and it was cut shorter than what was in the picture that I showed.
