One of the worst experience I got.
Despite the fact that I arrive in advance, no beautician was ready for my treatment.
One of the lady finally take me to a room after telling that she had no time for me (because she had another client waiting for her).
I’d booked for underarm, upper lips and chin waxing. She rushed the job, not even cleaning my underarm before applying the wax. 5min later, she was done, leaving multiple hairs. She barely cleaned the waxed areas. And I realise when I arrive home that I still had wax on my face.
I will definitely NOT go back and won’t be recommending them.

I have recently moved to the area and was looking for a highly rated salon. I booked and visited on Sunday afternoon for my first visit to this salon. I have been having Hollywood waxes for the past 5 years at a number of different salons and I have not had an experience like this one before.
Firstly, the room had not been set up prior to me entering with the bed covering still from the previous client. It made the salon seem quite unprepared for my pre-booked appointment.
I think for all previous waxes, talc has been applied before the wax which was not done on this occasion. I’m unsure if this is a reason why I had a bad experience.
The wax started as ‘normal’ and all was fine however very shortly afterwards the member of staff asked if I would prefer hot wax, which is what I would usually have but I didn’t see the option when I was booking.
When the member of staff came to remove a section of hair, the wax had become ‘stuck’ and she was unable to pull the wax away in one swift go. She tried multiple times. Instead she had to slowly pull at the wax, pulling at the wax to pull one hair at a time which was extremely painful. During this time I was obviously wincing in pain. After this did not work, she had to take a pair of scissors and cut the wax away from the hair, still having to pull to give enough space to cut away from my skin.
From this point I felt very uncomfortable yet I still wanted the wax to be finished.
The member of staff was very apologetic throughout but I do think this could have been avoided.
Since arriving home, I have noticed a large mount of residue left behind which caused my underwear to be stuck to me.
Secondly I had some pain after the wax as the skin had been disturbed (this was in another area than where it had got stuck).
Where the wax got stuck I now have dried and flaky skin - something that I have never experienced before.
I will not be returning to this salon.
