This was an overnight spa stay with my 3 girlfriends. We thought the hotel was brilliant overall with lovely rooms with nice bathrooms. The bar and restaurant were very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The value for money was great - we got lovely rooms, a rather large lunch that tasted great and a 3 course meal, where you could pick anything from the menu! The breakfast the next day had cooked and continental foods on offer and also tasted lovely. We got 2 treatments each at the spa and they were both great. The beauticians were very friendly and did a great job. The only negative comment I would make is the spa facilities. The steam room smelt a bit and the pool was cold (they had a boiler issue and they apologised for it). There was no Jacuzzi and therefore all we could do is lounge on the pool chairs which is not exactly what we wanted. The sauna was not bad at all, but there is only so much time you can spend in a sauna! We therefore spent more time seating at the lovely bar armchairs and sofas. We would definitely return for another stay, I just would not call it a spa break.
