No jacuzzi and chill out room but nice pool, sauna and steam room. Changing room spacious, good showers and very clean and nice robes. Fantastic value for money though as treatments were excellent and the lunch was really good. They seem to be having a refurb so parts of the Spa seemed a bit temporary but the deal was so good you cannot complain. 4 star overall.

Overall a good day spa experience with husband on the 2 for £99 package. Facilities are average but in good condition- clean and well briefed by the staff of the facilities. The lunch buffet was a great surprise compared to the average light lunch normally provided by other Spa hotels.

Wonderful facial - really glowing skin afterwards.
Pool area nice - would benefit from a hot tub / jacuzzi to complement the sauna and steam room.
Lunch - was ok, nothing special, but good selection of salad, jacket potatoes, hot buffet and deserts.

The venue was a bit shabby, the spa and pool area not that clean, the therapist who did my treatments chewed gum quite noisily throughout, and it generally felt a bit third rate. Add to that slightly chaotic situation in the bar area trying to get coffees and pastries for me and my friend, it was all in all a disappointment. This was my second visit to the Oxford Belfry in the last 12 months and I won't be going again.

The venue and staff were pleasent and it was not overcrowded. I enjoyed my treatments. We mainly used he pool and environs. We had an excelent lunch and a walk around the attactive grounds before returning to the pool.

Fantastic visit and great value for money! Only slight issue was the kids in the pool when we got there and again before we left as it did get quite noisy! The "light lunch" was anything but and was delicious with numerous course, we are definitely planning on going back!

I booked the Spa experience at the Oxford Belfry as a treat for myself and three friends. Although I appreciated that for the price paid it was not going to be an absolutely luxurious spa day, I was at least expecting pleasant surroundings and a decent lunch. The whole ambience of the leisure facility was of an uncared for, shoddy area. The reception office was little more than an untidy cubby hole, there was no toilet paper in one of the cubicles (at 9.30 am), the pool area was uninviting and unbearably hot. We did not try the sauna / ice room. As for the lunch, (which we had at 1.15pm), the hot buffet items already looked dried out and had a skin over the surface, the salad items did not look fresh - and the only protein selection was some feta cheese in one of the salads and some beans and a bowl of congealed grated cheese. The jacket potatoes tasted as though they had been cooking since breakfast-time. I am usually quite easily pleased - am just grateful that I don't have to cook a meal myself, but I can honestly say that this offering was far worse than any hospital canteen I have eaten in. To be charged £11.80 for cups of tea for 4 people was the last straw. I felt acutely embarrassed to 'treat' my friends to this very second-rate experience. The only redeeming feature as far as I was concerned was the very pleasant girl who did my leg/foot massage and pedicure and made a good job of it. My friends seemed satisfied with their relevant treatments too. However, the floors in the treatment rooms were extremely grubby.
PS. The one star given for manicure was accidental - I clicked on it my mistake and wasn't able to remove the star.

Excellent, good value, great facilities and I will definitely go back for more.
Avoid after school and school hols as there are children's swimming lessons in the pool - we went during school hours and it was very quiet, but after 4pm full of children - we went to the gym for a bit then.
Book early to get your treatments -I was not able to get through for a few days on the spa tel number/email and so took the last booking for a treatment.

This spa day is fantastic value for money, and the treatments we had were excellent. However, the spa itself is a little lacklustre - very dated decor, brown carpets, tatty magazines etc - and rather overcrowded and noisy (kids allowed in until mid-morning, so it felt more like a leisure-centre than a spa!) The changing rooms were not cleaned all day - huge piles or used towels and robes laying around, rubbish scattered all over the benches - which was pretty disappointing.

Great value for a full day at the spa plus two treatments, and staff were friendly and accommodating. The treatments were pretty good, the buffet lunch could have offered more options but was good.

The treatment was really lovely, and just what we booked the spa day for! However the staff in the spa - mainly on reception really - were the main thing that were lacking on the day, which was a shame as you are looking for the whole relaxing and indulgent experience when going on a spa day, so glum and unaccommodating reception staff are a let down.

Another thing is we hadn't realised we had to print out the wahanda confirmation - it meant there was quite a lot of faffing around at the reception on arrival.

Otherwise it was a really great day, with really clean facilities, excellent treatment, and a very good lunch.
