There is no jacuzzi so please remove from your advert. Staff did not tell us what to do at the spa so we didn't know what we were entitled to. Lack of spa beds so we couldn't sit down. Spa is open to the public so was full of men and kids swimming. Food and hotel were lush, treatments were good too. Overall very good value for money but the spa was not a relaxing place.

The spa was lovely and warm and the treatments were fantastic. I think we were lucky as it was a quiet time so there were no problems with finding loungers or lack of room in the changing area.
Such good value for money and all the food was great, although I would recommend getting to lunch fairly early as it was very busy when we went. The staff were helpful though and there was still plenty of food left. Overall a great experience, would go again.

The facilities are looking a bit dated and need a face lift, but lunch was a lovely menu and the food was lovely.

overall both me and my partner enjoyed our 1 night spa break. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived, however not much information was given to us about our stay, if we had been before, needed showing around, or where lunch and dinner would be and where we could get refreshments etc. we felt like we were just left to figure everything out. Having been to other Spas we found these little touches were missing and would have liked to have experienced this.

Arriving at the spa was better we were given more information as to where things were, and were given robes and slippers along with towels. The changing facilities are surprisingly small and slightly cramped but always remained clean. The spa facilities were quite basic and it was a shame we didn't get to use the sauna as it wasn't working properly, barely even warm, however we really enjoyed the heated beds and relaxation room.

For lunch we had a set meal as when we turned up for the buffet we were asked to go downstairs to the bar as they were full. This was slightly disappointing as we wanted to experience the buffet, and then to have my food (chicken curry) to come out stone cold didn't help to the disappointment. This was quickly rectified by the lady working in the bar (sorry can't remember her name) and I had a fresh curry which was hot! After this experience I wasn't really looking forward to dinner however it was a massive difference! We were served by a young guy, didn't have a name badge but had dark hair , he was very attentive and professional and made us feel very welcome. We had a 3 course meal and The food was very good and hot! The bottle of wine we had with our dinner was nice but rather expensive for what it was.

We were both very pleased with our room in the manor house, Very spacious and very clean, would defiantly recommend it.
On the morning of our last day we both had 1 hour long treatments which were really good! I had the rebalancing ritual which I would totally recommend and my partner had back and scalp massage which was also very good!! My therapist Alison was very professional and knowledgable about the treatment and products. Very friendly and easy to approach! Thank you for giving me the perfect treatment and finishing off my spa break on a high!

Value for money but staff could be friendlier. The staff in the restaurant were the friendliest of all the staff we came in contact with.

So, to Start with the positives...good value. Great massage, great facial, friendly if somewhat overworked staff.
The not so positives.....VERY VERY over booked. Nowhere to sit/relax by poolside for many folks, no room in changing room, no lockers as TOO MANY PEOPLE THERE. Toilets in therapy rooms were (to quote my Mother -in- law) "Disgusting". When this was pointed out to the Therapist she was very apologetic...yet not totally suprised.
Buffet lunch had pretty much run out by the time we went to eat at 1315, so we were given vouchers to eat in bar, which to be fair was VERY nice food, although i had to ask for the complimentary bubbly...which i felt should have been presented without having ot feel awkward and asking...then bar staff had to 'check' with Spa that we had the luxury package and were entitled!!!
Totally would NOT book again, NOT a Luxury spa day (to be fair the value was good) but not very relaxing as felt like i was at some kind of beach hotel with everyone trying to 'bagsy' sunbeds etc.

Loved the warmth of the spa area. Disappointed no Jacuzzi and had to walk outside(covered walkway) for lunch on a freezing cold day. Treatment excellent! Would go back again.

Second time we have been and look forward to going again. Always easy to park which is a bonus
