I hate leaving reviews that aren’t positive but I’m really not sure what happened with my hair at this salon and have been asked at least three times this week what colour my hair is. I booked a full head of blonde highlights with a toner and cut last Saturday. Four hours later it was clear I had been given brown highlights - I had brown hair! I have no idea how they could get this so wrong. I complained immediately and they told me to come back the next day. I arrived the next day and was told my hair needed a toner. I sat with this toner on my hair for 40 minutes - only when I panicked and asked the hairdresser whether I’d be getting highlights after the toner and she said no did I realise that they had got it completely wrong again - when the toner was taken off I had even browner hair. The manager was called in who dried my hair and put a half head of thick blonde highlights through my hair. It looks dramatically better than it did originally but I still don’t have a full head of blonde highlights - more brown hair with a few blonde streaks through it- not natural looking unlike a full head of blonde highlights. This session took 2.5 hours - therefore a total of 6.5 hours plus travel time for a head of hair I am not happy with and is clearly not what I booked! I need to not put any more dye in my hair for a few weeks but I will then go elsewhere for a full head of highlights.
It’s a shame as the ladies were nice but they got my hair completely wrong which left me feeling stressed all weekend and have felt upset since as my hair doesn’t look very good. It was also a shame to have wasted 6.5 hours of my weekend on this as I work very long hours during the week and I also had to change my Sunday plans to accommodate.
If you go to this salon it is very friendly but you must be sure you know they understand exactly what it is you want them to do to your hair as what you have booked might not be what they think you have booked.
