Last summer I had a terrible experience with a bikini wax which I put down to a one-off so didn't comment. Recently I had my upper lip waxed by someone with no technique who used a big body spatula and carried the wax over from a pot far away, hot wax trailing across my face. The lady used gloves, when no one else did, put wax on too thickly in the wrong direction. As she pulled it off, it stuck to her gloves. It was clumsy, messy and painful. I felt like an inconvenience.
